Fabric Jobbers

A jobber in the textile industry is an intermediary who buys large quantities of fabrics, often as surplus or closeouts, from manufacturers and sells them in smaller quantities to retailers, designers, and other customers. They provide access to a wide range of materials without the need for large bulk purchases, bridging the gap between large-scale production and smaller-scale consumption at wholesale prices.
